This guide explains how to update your contact information in your Disciple.Tools profile, including email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses.
1. Access Your Profile
On Desktop
Click on your display name in the top right corner of the screen to go to your profile settings.
On Mobile
- Click the hamburger menu icon (☰) in the top right corner.
- Click Settings.
2. Open the Edit Modal
- On the settings page, find the “Profile” section at the top.
- Click the “Edit” button. This opens a window where you can update your information.
- Scroll down to the contact information section within the modal.
- Work Phone: Enter your work phone number.
- Work Email: Enter your work email address. Note that this is for contact purposes and is different from your system login email.
- Address: Enter your physical address.
- Social Media: Add links to your social media profiles (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
4. Save Your Changes
- After editing, click the “Save” button to apply your updates.
- To exit without saving, click “Cancel” or the “X” icon.
Important Notes
- Separate from Contact Records: The contact information you enter in your profile is for your user account and is separate from any contact records in the Disciple.Tools system. Your profile information is for internal team reference.
- System Email: The “Work Email” field is for general contact. To change the email address used for notifications and system communication, see the “Change System Email” option.
- Visibility: This information is visible to other users in the system, helping your team members connect with you.
