Change Password

This guide explains how to change your password in Disciple.Tools. Keeping your password secure is essential for protecting your account.

Disciple.Tools uses the standard WordPress password reset process. You cannot change your password from your profile page.

How to Change Your Password

1. Log Out: If you are currently logged in, you must first log out of your Disciple.Tools account.

2. Go to the Login Page: Navigate to the main login page for your Disciple.Tools instance.

3. Initiate Password Reset:
   • Click on the “Lost your password?” link located below the login form.
4. Enter Your Credentials:
   • On the password reset page, enter either your Username or your System Email Address.
   • Click the “Get New Password” button.
5. Check Your Email:
   • The system will send a password reset link to your registered system email address.
   • Open this email and click the link provided.
6. Set a New Password:
   • You will be redirected to a page where you can enter and confirm your new password.
   • Choose a strong password and save it. You can now log in with your new password.

Important Notes

• Password Strength: It is highly recommended to use a strong, unique password that combines uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
• Email Access: You must have access to the email account associated with your Disciple.Tools profile to reset your password.
• Security: Do not share your password with anyone. If you suspect your password has been compromised, change it immediately.
